This project was born at the 3beards & Yahoo hackathon. The brief was turn data into something creative. The theme was based on Arts, Music, Media, Fashion around London. My team and I decided to go for an application that suggests a fashion lookbook for user based on the weather in their location.
The were several API's provided but we decided to go for Tumblr, Soundcloud and Weather API.
As London weather is very unpredictable, the target user is the average Joe that wakes up in the morning and has no idea what to wear for the day. It just suggest to the user e.g. if the weather is 17 degree, it suggests Jumper. We used tags to pull the images from Tumblr API.
I was a designer at this project and helped with the look of the mobile version on the site and input on the web application.
