Inspiration
Treasure Hunting (and we are holders of Solana since 2021)
What it does
Users missing one of their belongings can make a post to signal a missing object, putting it up with a reward. When
How we built it
We started by setting up our database, we chose to go for mongoDB because it was one of MLH's challenges and we had little to no experience using noSQL. Our next step, building our beloved Java backend using the powerful Spring Boot framework, it was incredible until... Frontend. What a mess oh what a mess. We spent a minimum of 2h just trying to setup a compatible tech stack to manage Auth with a Solana wallet (Phantom).
Challenges we ran into
The list is SO Long, but here are a few.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
In our opinion, the lessons we learned, the technologies we got to use and the environnement the conUHacks team put in place for us are much more valuable than winning a prize. We are very proud to have built a project within those 24h!
What we learned
Organized teamwork will always beat
What's next for SolFinder
