Our initial idea was to use an open source dictionary to populate words for a spelling game. By joining the idea with tetris gameplay, we found that a Wii Nun-chuck could be used for game controls.
In the end, users are able to choose an open source database where words used for spelling from professor names taken from www.edupal.co/hack. The game is built on Unity and receives inputs from a Wii Nun-chuck through an Arduino microcontroller that correspond to actions. Users can retry to compete for the high scores.
