How to Customize EasyCommerce Checkout Page
EasyCommerce allows you to customize your store's checkout page to provide a smooth and user-friendly shopping experience.
To configure your checkout settings, navigate to Store > Settings > Checkout in your WordPress dashboard.
The Checkout Settings section currently offers three main options:
1. Default Checkout Template
Select the template for your checkout page layout. There are three template options:
Template 1: This layout displays the Billing Address and Shipping Address sections on the left side, while the Cart Items, Order Summary, and Payment Options are positioned on the right side. It offers a minimal and visually balanced checkout experience, ensuring clarity and smooth navigation for users.
Template 2: In this layout, the Customer Information and Payment Details are displayed on the left side, while the Cart and Order Summary are shown on the right side. It ensures a clean, focused design that keeps essential checkout details easily accessible.
Template 3: This layout features the Billing and Shipping Address sections on the left side, with the Order Summary and Payment Options positioned on the right side. It’s built to offer a structured, easy-to-follow layout, enhancing the overall checkout experience.
2. Columns
Choose how many columns to display on the checkout page:
1 Column: Displays all checkout fields in a single vertical column, offering a simple and clean layout.
2 Columns: Splits checkout fields into two columns, making the page more compact and reducing scrolling, especially useful on desktop.
3. Enable Direct Checkout
Allow customers to proceed directly to checkout from Shop page. This feature simplifies the purchasing process for faster transactions. Ideal for stores focusing on quick purchases.
