We Lead with Solutions

Many STEM roles require previous experience, making it difficult for new grads — especially women and minorities — to break into the field. At WebFX, we’re changing that.

We focus on skills, potential, and access so candidates from diverse backgrounds have a fair opportunity to explore careers in digital marketing and tech. Through WebFX-U events and campus outreach, we connect with college students, especially those from underrepresented groups, and offer guidance on careers in tech.

Once hired, every team member begins their journey with our structured Bootcamp onboarding program. This creates a strong foundation across departments. From there, we offer department-specific career tracks and ongoing development programs, so each employee has the tools and support to grow confidently in their role and throughout their career at WebFX.

We operate based on an internal merit-based promotion system, meaning there’s plenty of growth to go around. Promotions are based on the effort an FXer puts into learning objectives, growth milestones, and goals reached for clients — not tenure or “open spots.” This way, every team member has real ownership over their career growth.

Beyond onboarding, we also invest in continuous professional development through programs like FXMultipliers, an on-site training series designed to help FXers build skills, confidence, and leadership over time.

We also offer FamilyFX Parental Leave Programs to help FXers feel supported as they build both their careers and their families. We believe support should be practical, not performative. That’s why FXers have access to tools like a company-wide Headspace account, along with additional mental health resources and services designed to support well-being at work and beyond.

We Aspire to Leave the World a Better Place

In 2014, we launched FXBuilds to improve 10,000 lives by 2024. By 2020, we had already impacted over 7,000 people.

Powered by our team’s success, FXBuilds supports underserved communities by partnering with organizations like The Water Project, Forgotten Voices, Empower Playgrounds, and Pencils of Promise. We donate $25,000 per project and send two FXambassadors to witness the impact. Locally, our #SeeingtheFX award honors the client growth we help create—often enabling new hires or locations. To celebrate, we donate meals to Bethesda Mission, where our team also volunteers.

We are Avid Ongoing Learners

We believe in investing in future generations by supporting education, inclusion, and skill-building in our local community. Through the Young Professionals of Color Harrisburg (YPOC HBG) classroom adoption program, we help close the education gap by supporting teachers and students in under-resourced schools near our headquarters. We also contribute to The LGBT Center of Central PA to fund diversity and inclusion training in K–12 schools.

With our STEM-FX program, we invest over $15,000 annually to introduce local students to careers in digital marketing and tech. Students participate in shadowing experiences, receive access to industry-recognized training, and earn a $500 grant to continue their education or invest in tech tools.

Our free community trainings are open to anyone, regardless of background or education level. Internally, we created the FXCitizen training program, curated by our team, to promote ongoing education around diversity, allyship, and inclusion—reinforcing our commitment to building a culture of belonging.
