About the challenge

HackTheEast is a 24-hour hackathon running from 9:00 AM Saturday, Feb 28 to 9:00 AM Sunday, March 1. Participants are invited to demonstrate their skills and creativity by building solutions addressing real-world problems through technology.  

The competition features a primary Innovation in AI stream, complemented by mini-challenge statements with partners. This is to encourage Hong Kong techies to get creative and create a solution with a meaningful impact and drive technological advancement.

What to Build

Build an innovative solution powered by artificial intelligence that creates a meaningful impact. This may involve new applications, enhancing existing processes, or redefining user experiences. We encourage projects across all domains and encourage participants to make use of technologies by our partners. Please take a look at our sponsors section for reference. More details will be released on the day of the hackathon.
