Smart Switch

Smart Switch is a free program that docks your start-up options on your task bar. The program also allows you to access all your power options right from the desktop.

You can choose your default Home Screen, whether it be the Windows 8 UI mode or Desktop mode and the shutdown (Fastboot mode) reboots your system much faster.
