Before my academic career, I worked for ten years as a software developer in industry. I have lead small teams and mentored junior colleagues and I gained expertise in the full software development lifecycle – from gathering customer requirements through creating system architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of products actively used by customers.
