How do you keep a mobile operating system truly independent? You build a structure that protects it. Governance is the blueprint for the UBports Foundation. It defines who makes the decisions, how we stay accountable, and how our community maintains control over the software we build.
Central to this are our Statutes. Just as a constitution defines the rights and rules of a country, our statutes are the legal bedrock that ensures Ubuntu Touch remains open, free, and community-driven, no matter how much we grow.
