Hi, I am trying to edit a table. As soon as I hit save, it will not show the content of the table anymore in the backend, but won’t save anything. I have to reload the page, but it won’t let me save.

    Hi @axibert,

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

Do you happen to be using e.g. the “Create” plugin by NerdPress or similar? I have recently had a report where such behavior was caused by that plugin.

If you are not using such a plugin, please get in touch via email (the yellow “Send us an email” button in the lower part of https://tablepress.org/pricing/) and we’ll check this.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

Lol I am actually using (or let’s say have been using 🙂 ) the create plugin. Thanks it is working now after disabling.

Good morning! Create does have a new owner, but it’s not NerdPress — it’s JM. He was one of the original folks at Mediavine who worked on it. https://create.studio/hello

NerdPress did help identify the problem in Create 1.10.1 and we reported it to JM right away. He’s told us that he has a fix prepared, but I don’t think it’s been released yet. So until then, we recommend rolling back to 1.9.16.

You can download the older version at the bottom of this page, and then reinstall it over the current one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/mediavine-create/advanced/

Or, a plugin like WP Rollback can help with that too. 🙂

    Hi!

@axibert: Great, thanks for confirming 🙂

@eatingrules: Thanks for the clarification! Good to hear that a fix is on the way! And sorry for mixing up the names and owners here! I wasn’t aware of that and only remembered that name from that previous issue report.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress in the plugin directory. Thanks!

    All good! 🙂
