The Albion Speedrun Collective invite you to a brand new LIVE UK speedrun event! Working alongside AnimeLeague, we're bringing a two day speedrun marathon to [Manchester Anime & Gaming Con](https://spring.manchesteranimecon.com/). The marathon is open to all runners who are up for attending, and will be displayed at the venue and streamed to the [Albion Speedrun Collective Twitch channel](https://twitch.tv/albionspeedrun).

We will be raising money for the local charity **[Everyone Can](https://everyonecan.org.uk/)**. Their Technology Centre in Manchester offers an unparalleled gaming experience for disabled people. With alternative control methods for anyone who needs them, they ensure everyone can game together and if a solution doesn't exist, they invent one with their Design and Production Lab. This unique and innovative charity are raising the lives of disabled people to a higher level.

Runs are onsite only, meaning runners, commentators and attendees need to purchase a convention ticket - which grants you access to the whole convention where there's plenty to see and do, including entertainment when the marathon breaks for Saturday evening.

How are you all? I'm writing this news while RTA in Japan 2025 Winter is taking place.

私は今、Nintendo Switchで日本コロムビア社から発売された「映画すみっコぐらしシリーズ」のRTA走者を増加するべく、こうして呼びかけをしています。

「映画すみっコぐらしシリーズ」とは、以下のタイトルを指します。

2019年発売「映画すみっコぐらし とびだす絵本とひみつのコ ゲームであそぼう! 絵本の世界」

2021年発売「映画すみっコぐらし 青い月夜のまほうのコ ゲームであそぼう! 映画の世界」

2023年発売「映画 すみっコぐらし ツギハギ工場のふしぎなコ ゲームであそぼう！ 映画の世界」

これらのゲームは、どの作品も腕前次第では30分以内でクリアできるようになっています。

作品ごとのチャートの研究・解析が進めば、場合によってはタイムが25分を切ることも不可能ではありません。

また、すみっコぐらしシリーズのゲームはほかにも登録されています。

以下、エンディングまで到達するまでが短いと思われるすみっコぐらしシリーズのゲームです。

3DS、2014年発売「すみっコぐらし ここがおちつくんです」(すごろくで手に入るすべてのアイテムを獲得すればエンディング、所要時間約5時間程度？)

Switch、2020年発売「すみっコぐらし おへやのすみでたびきぶんすごろく」(すべてのステージをクリアすればエンディング、所要時間約3時間半程度？)

すみっコぐらしシリーズのゲームをRTAでプレイして、RTA in japanなどのイベントへの出場を目指しましょう。

I'm currently calling for more people to participate in RTAs of the "Sumikko Gurashi Movie Series," released by Nippon Columbia for the Nintendo Switch.

The "Sumikko Gurashi Movie Series" refers to the following titles:

"Sumikko Gurashi Movie: The Pop-Up Picture Book and the Secret Little One: Let's Play the Game! The Picture Book World" (2019)

"Sumikko Gurashi Movie: The Magical Little One of the Blue Moonlit Night: Let's Play the Game! The Movie World" (2021)

"Sumikko Gurashi Movie: The Mysterious Little One of the Patchwork Factory: Let's Play the Game! The Movie World" (2023)

Each of these games can be completed in under 30 minutes, depending on your skill level.

With further research and analysis of the charts for each game, it may be possible to achieve a time under 25 minutes.

There are also other games in the Sumikko Gurashi series registered.

Below are some Sumikko Gurashi games that are thought to have a short ending.

3DS: "Sumikko Gurashi: Peace of Mind Here," released in 2014 (the ending is reached by collecting all the items available in the sugoroku game, taking about 5 hours?)

Switch: "Sumikko Gurashi: Traveling in the Corner of Your Room sugoroku," released in 2020 (the ending is reached by clearing all stages, taking about 3.5 hours?)

Play Sumikko Gurashi games in RTA mode and aim to compete in events like RTA in Japan.

# This winter, the Zelda speedrunning community unites in support of Make-A-Wish America. 

Introducing: The Big Split - where each *game* is a split in our race to 2026. Across 2 full days 21 runners will take part in speedrunning the entire mainline Legend of Zelda in release order!
