How it works

Three moves. That is the whole interface.

No menus to learn. If you can pause a video, you can do this.

1

Pause

Watch the film like any other. When a line makes you laugh or wonder, pause.

2

Tap

Everyone on screen lights up. Tap the character you want, the giraffe, the hippo, Noah himself.

3

Talk

They know the scene you stopped on. Ask why, ask how, ask what happens next. Then press play and carry on.

A new way to watch

The film becomes the conversation.

Every character knows where you are in the story: what just happened, what they just said, and what they would never say.

Ask the hippo why it gave the ark two stars. Ask the dove what it saw out there. Ask Noah what it was like to wait. Then press play and the film carries on from the exact frame.

Among the first experiences of its kind: we know of character chat apps and AI avatars, but not of many films you can step into and question, scene by scene.

An open storybook with small animated animals rising from its glowing pages
Learn by asking

Curiosity is the best teacher.

Children remember what they ask about. Here the story answers back.

Why three decks? What did the dove bring back? How long did the water stay? Every answer points to the passage it comes from, so families, classrooms and churches can open the Bible and read it together.

Made to be lived in.

Every scene is built so its characters can step forward. A few moments from the world of the ark:

Bible stories first. Any animation next.

Noah and David are just the start.

Noah is the first. The same idea works for any animated story: adventures, history, science, and the worlds creators are dreaming up right now.

Questions

Good questions, honest answers.

What is Animation Alive?

A new way to watch animation. You can pause an animated film, tap a character on screen and talk with them about the scene you are watching. Our first film is Noah’s Ark: The Reviews, a 97-second comedy in which the animals on the ark review the voyage and Noah answers every review. Animation Alive is part of Bro.com Productions.

Is it live?

Yes, as a beta. Pause the Noah film, tap a character and ask by typing or speaking. “Live” means the character answers on the spot, out loud, with a moving mouth, and remembers what you said earlier in that chat. It does not mean a real person is on the other end: every character is an AI character, and the chat is labelled “AI character. Not live.” so you always know no human is typing. One tap takes you back to the exact frame of the film. Prefer a normal player? Choose the plain film.

Do I watch the film first?

Yes, the first time. Watch the film first, then talk to the cast: First, watch the film. Then meet the cast in the interactive version, coming up next. When the film ends, one tap on Talk to the cast opens the interactive version. In a hurry? Tap Skip to interactive under the player. After that the page opens in the interactive version, and Watch the film is always one tap away.

Is this the first time anyone has done this?

We believe we are among the first to let you talk with the characters inside an animated film, scene by scene. Character chat apps and AI video avatars already exist; what is new here is the film itself becoming the conversation.
