What I’m doing now

I’m building again, writing about product craft, and mentoring product managers. Read more about my background.

  • Building again. After leaving GitHub, I returned to founding. I’m building Strunk, where you draft in your AI tool and your reviewers comment in Google Docs.

  • Writing about product craft. In my newsletter I share practical ideas on product leadership, AI products, and the transition from founder-led product to a strong product function.

  • Mentoring product managers. I mentor PMs on MentorCruise, helping with job searches, interviews, and growing into more senior roles. I also mentor startup founders through Techscaler and Barclays Eagle Labs.

Product work across stages

My perspective comes from building at both ends of the product spectrum: founder-level ambiguity and platform-scale execution.

  • GitHubLed Issue fields and semantic search, alongside the major React rewrite of the Issues experience, inside a mature product organisation operating at global scale.
  • ProdsightFounded an AI customer-feedback product, took it from idea to growth, and sold the company to Playvox in 2022.
  • PlayvoxLed multiple product teams at a Series B company and created AutoQA, bringing AI into customer-support quality workflows.
  • 0-to-1 product workBuilt early products as a founding PM and agency product manager, working directly with founders through ambiguity, discovery, and first traction.

Mentoring for PMs
