Loadsmart is one connected logistics platform, run by AI, for mid-market and enterprise shippers. It combines ShipperGuide, an AI-native transportation management system, with Opendock, a dock, gate, and yard management network. Loadsmart AI runs the repetitive freight work, and Freight Experts resolve the exceptions.
What Loadsmart does
Loadsmart runs freight for shippers on one connected platform. ShipperGuide handles planning, procurement, execution and settlement. Opendock handles docks, gates and yards. Loadsmart AI works across both, and Freight Experts resolve the exceptions. Freight brokerage and managed transportation run on the same platform, and carriers and warehouses use it too.
Loadsmart Platform
One connected platform that runs your freight lifecycle. ShipperGuide handles transportation management, and Opendock handles dock, gate, and yard. They share one data set. AI agents handle the repetitive work, Freight Experts resolve the exceptions, and outcomes are delivered back to your system of record. Your existing systems stay in place.
Six specialized AI agents run Document Collection & Filing, Tracking & Status Updates, Tender Failures, Proactive Load Audits, Claims Processing, and Scheduling & Re-Scheduling. They work continuously under the rules you set and resolve 80% or more of tasks on their own today, a share that grows as they run your freight. Freight Experts resolve the rest, so the work gets finished.
Opendock digitizes how freight enters, moves through, and exits your facilities. Carriers schedule their own dock appointments, drivers check in and out through Gate Management, and yard teams track trailers, across 4,500+ warehouses and 270,000+ carriers. SmartGate adds AI cameras at the gate. When a pickup slips, the Scheduling & Re-Scheduling AI agent finds a new slot, surfaces the change for approval, and notifies the contact on the appointment.
ShipperGuide is an AI-native transportation management system that plans, procures, executes, and settles freight across truckload, LTL, partial truckload, intermodal, drayage, and parcel. AI is part of the foundation: AI agents handle tendering, tracking, documents, and auditing, and draft claims for your approval. Your role shifts from operating the system to supervising it.
Technology-enabled freight brokerage backed by 100,000+ carrier relationships. Runs on the same platform and the same intelligence as every other Loadsmart service. Your routing guide and carrier preferences govern execution. Brokerage is available when you want it, never imposed by the platform.
End-to-end transportation management as a service, powered by the Loadsmart Platform. Loadsmart acts as an extension of your team, with dedicated specialists and engineers who work inside your operation. AI runs the repetitive work, Freight Experts handle the exceptions, and you supervise the results.
Our mission is simple:Provide transportation services and technology that reduce your freight spend, improve your service levels and raise your team's productivity.
What makes Loadsmart different
One platform from start to finish
One platform from planning to the dock
ShipperGuide (TMS), Opendock (dock, gate, and yard) and Loadsmart AI share one data set, so the work runs across the freight lifecycle and not just one step of it. Freight brokerage and managed transportation run on the same platform.
AI solving 80%
80%+ of the work resolved by AI
Loadsmart AI's six AI agents resolve 80% or more of the freight tasks they handle on their own today, and that share grows as they run your freight. When a task is automated, its cost is 83% lower than a person doing it, and it finishes 80% faster than doing it manually.
270,000+ Carriers
A network at both ends of the load
The platform connects 270,000+ carriers and 4,500+ warehouses, and handles 14M+ dock appointments a year. Loadsmart serves 1,800+ customers worldwide.
