but if you look at this and think it's time to dunk on this, think again:
a huge chunk of teams choose to use Electron. by miles. the cheat sheet to this tweet is simply, there's more viable options than just Electron.
People keep telling me that native apps are much faster than React Native, but I don’t think it’s true. So I built the same app in 9 different desktop frameworks. I found that AppKit is slightly faster/lighter than React Native, but React Native beats SwiftUI by a good margin.
