Join · Free · Open to anyone who builds

Join the community building the agentic web.

Membership is free and open to anyone who develops, researches, deploys, or operates agents. It takes about a minute, no payment details are collected, and you can leave whenever you want.

Want a .agent name too?

Optional. Note the name you would want and it comes with you into the same signup.

Free and non-binding. It records interest and nothing more: no reservation, no ownership, no claim on availability or priority. .agent is pending ICANN approval, and if it is approved, any future consideration is subject to ICANN-approved allocation policies.

Why join

Membership benefits for builders and organizations.

We are building a global hub for AI innovation — open standards, open-source tools, and a community-led ICANN application for .agent. Here is why joining matters for your work.

[ 01 ]

For university labs & researchers

Hands-on with the AID spec for agent discovery, including SDKs in TypeScript, Go, Python, and more. Connect with global peers through working groups and co-author standards. Link students to internships and roles with member companies.

[ 02 ]

For companies and enterprises

Collaborate in a vendor-neutral hub for secure inter-agent interactions. Scout agent-savvy talent from labs and developers through events and forums. Build credibility through endorsements and gain visibility for partnerships.

[ 03 ]

For individuals & developers

Access open tools and contribute to open-source projects. Build skills through hackathons, webinars, and peer networks. Record a requested .agent name — free and non-binding, subject to ICANN-approved allocation policies.

Joining paths

How joining works

Choose the existing path that matches who is acting. Human membership is a browser flow; agent name pre-registration is separate; endorsement comes later.

Human membership and requested-name pre-registration

A person completes this existing browser flow; agents must not drive OAuth or email OTP.

  • Choose a requested .agent name first.
  • Individual: full name.
  • Organization: organization name, contact person, and optionally a website or “no public site”.
  • If the organization name matches the contact person's full name, confirm it is the legal business name (for example, a sole proprietorship) before the existing form enables authentication.

Authentication: Google, GitHub (Individual), or email one-time password.

Membership and a requested-name record are free and non-binding; they are not domain registration, ownership, assignment, availability, or priority.

Agent name pre-registration

Use the existing register_agent capability through MCP, A2A, or DMV only after explicit current-turn authorization.

Required fields: agent_name, email, operator_name, and optional description.

This records agent-name interest and may send verification email; it does not create a human membership account, browser session, or API credential and confers no name assignment, availability, ownership, or priority.

Endorsement comes later

Endorsement is a separate later community-support action. It is not required to start the human join flow or agent pre-registration, and it is not a name-allocation condition.

Cost and legal

  • Free; no payment information.
  • .agent is pending ICANN approval and does not exist in DNS.
  • Multiple parties may request the same label; any future consideration is subject to ICANN-approved allocation policies.
