Do I need an account?

Yes — a free account. Sign up with your email, and your invoices are safely stored and available in the app and in any browser.

What does the free plan include?

Everything you need to run your basic business will always be free: unlimited invoices, quotes, cancellation invoices (Storno), correct tax calculation for your setup, compliant e-invoicing PDFs, and all exports. Extras — like read receipts — are part of our Plus package.

What do I pay for?

The Plus package covers the extras: read receipts on shared invoices, multiple users, advanced analytics, and API access. Core invoicing never moves behind the paywall.

Can my accountant work with it?

Yes. DATEV CSV export, plain CSV, and bulk invoice export are built in and always free — hand your accountant exactly what they ask for.

Is it e-invoicing compliant?

Every PDF is Factur-X 1.0 / ZUGFeRD 2.x at the EN 16931 (Comfort) profile — machine-readable e-invoices, ready for the German B2B e-invoicing mandate.

Do I need to enable e-invoicing or configure anything?

No. Every PDF Billino generates is already a valid Factur-X / ZUGFeRD e-invoice. There is no toggle, no format to pick, no extra step — it is automatic on every invoice.

Does my invoice include a payment QR code?

Yes, automatically. EUR invoices with IBAN banking details include a GiroCode (EPC QR) in the payment section. Your client scans it with any banking app and the transfer is pre-filled — amount, IBAN, and reference included.

Which countries are supported?

Billino currently supports Germany, Austria, and Cyprus — with full tax logic for each: correct VAT rates, small-business thresholds, EU reverse charge on cross-border B2B invoices, and export exemptions for clients outside the EU.

Which currencies are supported?

EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, JPY, CAD, AUD, SEK, NOK, DKK, and 15 more — 25 currencies in total.

Where is my data stored?

In the EU. Your account and invoice data live on our servers in Nuremberg and Frankfurt, Germany — encrypted in transit and accessible only through your account. You can export everything at any time.

Is my data sold or shared with third parties?

No. We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties. No advertising, no analytics resale. Your data stays on our EU servers and is used solely to operate the service.

Can I delete my account and all my data?

Yes — from Account Settings, or by contacting us. Deleting your account permanently erases your invoices, client data, and profile. There is no recovery after deletion.

What happens to my data if I cancel my plan?

Your data stays in your account. Downgrading to the free plan does not delete anything — you keep full access to your invoice history. Only deleting your account removes your data.
