Do external users need an account?

No. External users can book via the public booking link without creating an account. They just need to provide their name and email.

What happens when a booking isn't confirmed?

Pending bookings stay in the queue until an admin confirms or rejects them. The requester is notified of the decision.

Can I manage multiple locations?

Yes. You can create multiple locations and assign resources to them. Each booking page can include resources from different locations.

Is there a limit on the number of resources?

No hard limit. You can add as many resources, categories, and booking pages as you need.

Can I customize the booking form?

Yes. You can add custom fields (text, number, select, checkbox, etc.) to each booking page to collect additional information from requesters.

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored and processed in the EU. Dispoly is GDPR-compliant, connections are encrypted, and you can request export or deletion of your data at any time.

Is Dispoly affordable for volunteer organizations?

Yes. The Starter plan covers up to 50 members and 10 resources for $19/month, and yearly billing gives you two months free. Every plan starts with a free 30-day trial.

Can I import my existing inventory?

Yes. You can bulk-import resources — and even existing bookings — from a CSV or Excel file. A downloadable template and column mapping make the switch quick, and categories and locations are created automatically.

Do bookings show up in Google Calendar or Outlook?

Yes. Every resource has an optional calendar feed (iCal) that you can subscribe to in Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar. Confirmed and pending reservations appear automatically and stay up to date — no manual export needed.

Can guests pay for their booking directly?

Yes. You decide per booking page: online by card, or show the price and collect on site or by invoice. With online payment the money goes straight to your account – Dispoly never receives it, and your name appears on card statements.

What does the payment feature cost?

Paying on site or by invoice is free. For online payments we keep 4% per transaction, plus Stripe’s own fees. There is no base fee and no minimum turnover – the 4% only applies when someone actually pays online. If a booking is cancelled, our share is refunded too.
