Dora Hack 2.0
Dora Hack 2.0
Take Your Product to the World
DoraHacks 2.0 is a global, fully remote 72-hour hackathon designed to help participants transform their ideas into real-world products using AI and no-code technologies.
Unlike traditional hackathons that primarily focus on building prototypes, DoraHacks follows a two-phase execution model:
Phase 1: Build — Turning Ideas Into Products
Participants collaborate in teams to build functional MVPs using any tools, frameworks, or platforms of their choice.
The focus is not only on creating something technically impressive but on solving meaningful problems and building products that can create real user value.
Phase 2: Launch — Taking Products To The Market
The second phase focuses on helping teams move beyond development and successfully launch their products.
Participants will receive guidance on:
- Product positioning
- Launch strategy
- Storytelling
- Community building
- User acquisition
- Product Hunt & Peerlist launches
- Collecting early user feedback
The goal is simple:
Every team should leave not only with a product, but with their first users, market validation, and a launch story.
Finding Your Teammates
Option 1: Build With GWY Community
You can form teams with other fellows. Use the community to find:
- Someone who complements your skills
- Someone who shares your ambition
- Someone who is ready to show up for 72 hours
Option 2: Bring Your Own Team
You can also participate with:
- Friends
- College teammates
- Existing collaborators
- Professional networks
Mentor Ecosystem
To ensure participants receive support across every stage of the journey, DoraHacks 2.0 brings together a network of 60+ mentors from diverse backgrounds including:
- AI & Technology
- Product Management
- Startup Growth
- Marketing & Distribution
- Design & User Experience
- Content & Storytelling
- Community Building
Mentors will support teams through:
- Product feedback sessions
- Technical guidance
- Launch strategy
- Growth experiments
- Final pitch preparation
Product Launch Requirements
To ensure every project moves beyond a prototype, participating teams will follow these guidelines:
- | Product Ownership | Each product must have a standalone account or be launched through the team members' existing accounts.
- | Building Tools | Teams are free to use any AI tools, no-code platforms, frameworks, or technologies.
- | Product Launch | Every product must be launched on Product Hunt.
- | User Validation | Teams must onboard a minimum of 50 users and collect feedback
- | Feedback Collection | Teams are encouraged to collect public reviews and testimonials
- | Content Journey | Teams must create minimum 4 content pieces documenting their journey
Beyond 72 Hours
DoraHacks 2.0 does not end with submission.
The strongest teams will continue receiving support through:
- Community visibility
- Product feedback
- Founder connections
- Growth opportunities
- Future DoraDAO ecosystem opportunities
The objective is to create products that continue growing even after the hackathon concludes.
