IFF challenged the blocking of the viral ‘Dirty Data’ reel on Instagram on a proposed data centre in Vizag

The reel was blocked under section 79(3)(b) of the IT Act, 2000 under the opaque Sahyog Portal and had garnered around 2.6 million views before being blocked. We approached the Delhi High Court seeking unblocking of the reel and a copy of the blocking order.
