Sieve hosted two events for the multimodal research community at CVPR 2026: a researcher dinner and a happy hour bringing together students, engineers, and researchers from across the ecosystem. The conversations were some of the highlights of the week - we discussed everything from video understanding and world models to the evolving multimodal landscape, emerging research challenges, and the data infrastructure needed to train the next generation of AI systems. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, shared ideas, challenged assumptions, and made the events so engaging. Excited to announce that I've completed my first week at Sieve as an applied ML research intern! Even before stepping foot in Sieve's HQ, I had learned so much just through the interview process. It consisted of several rounds with members of the team that felt like intellectual chats rather than interviews. Spending the past week onsite and meeting the rest of team has been an incredibly motivating experience, and I'm so grateful to be spending my summer in an environment that fosters curiosity and learning :)

Happy to announce that I joined Sieve as a software engineering intern, working on their research engineering efforts on video search! After having exposure to early stage startups, I decided to focus on a blend of applying video research into production. At Sieve, I get to do just that, alongside bringing my experiences in research, startup, and big tech to the table. PS: We are hiring rapidly! My interview process was less than 1wk, and everyone was amazing to speak with ; )

I'm excited to share that I've joined Sieve this summer as a software engineering intern in SF! Sieve is the video data research lab powering the next generation of AI — sourcing, filtering, and delivering hundreds of petabytes of high-quality video data to the world's leading AI labs, Fortune 100 companies, and the fastest-growing generative AI startups on the planet. Right now, video is the last great frontier in training data. Sieve is the team quietly solving it at the infrastructure level via research-grade pipelines that index billions of videos, annotate them with expert models and human QA, and ship training-ready datasets that actually move model capabilities forward. Within my first week on the job, I’ve already been trusted to dive deep into our core products' systems and ship multiple PRs! Earlier this month, Sieve hosted an intimate dinner with Stanford undergraduates and graduate students exploring the multimodal space, bringing together perspectives from research and industry over an exceptional meal from Eylan. Sieve hosted its first Women in AI community event - the Devil Wears Prada 2 screening that brought together an incredible group of women working across the tech and AI space.
