People in tech need to read more humanities in general 🙌🏽 Tech bros think they're well-rounded because they've read some 3rd-hand quotes about stoicism but refuse to actually learn about stuff that would be genuinely helpful to not just continually make tech solutionist rubbish

I stopped reading a lot in the second half of last year to spend more time with loved ones and give my brain a small break after finishing my master's, but I never dropped the @readwise streak, and it's been nice to still have a little point of literary reflection in the day 📚

sometimes I wonder if my brother has autism but then I remember that one time he showed me his spreadsheet of all his friends that would calculate when he needed to hang out with them/text them in order to maintain a friendship
