Are you at #SIGGRAPH2024 and want to learn how to reconstruct meshes from multi-view images that contain details like individual strands of grass? Then come today to the "Radiance Field Processing" session at 2 p.m. in Mile High 1. binary-opacity-grid.github.io

SuperGaussian looks fantastic! What I like in particular is that they do not rely on perfectly accurate camera poses since they are rendering their own trajectory from the low-res reconstruction. More info: supergaussian.github.io

I hope I am not missing any keyword: Photo-realistic real-time rendering of scenes as big as an entire apartment on a smartphone is here! If you don't believe me check out our web demo: smerf-3d.github.io If you want to learn how we made that happen check out @duck's thread.

In less than an hour I am going to present our paper MERF at #SIGGRAPH2023 in Petree Hall D. MERF allows you to interactively explore large scenes on a laptop in the browser. Check out our web demo: creiser.github.io/merf/ By the way we have also released the entire code now!

Block-NeRF and MegaNeRF show that independent networks are also great for representing large scenes.
