    I was raised in a hippie commune where the elders decided to name me Ray Ray. when I was 8, my family escaped in a van that we named Carlos Vantanna. I eventually changed my name to Jonny Ray and started dating a cheerleader.

    I hate to be the one to say this, but please--no more manifestos. They've made great progress on this in the last year. What people want to see from the EF is less manifesting, more shipping.

    Five years ago, I left Ethereum protocol development to build in defi. Ethereum has been the great love of my professional life and I missed it. I’m returning to Ethereum core development as a developer on the @go_ethereum team.
