- Guinean authorities must stop blocking digital platforms and uphold human rights. The restriction violates the 2023 ECOWAS Court ruling, which affirmed that the indiscriminate blackouts breach freedom of expression + access to information rights. #KeepItOn‼️ Over the last few days, #Guinea started blocking access to social media… again. OONI data shows the blocking of Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube on Orange Guinée (AS37461) by means of TLS interference. This follows previous social media blocks in May 2023 and November 2023.
