- Cannot wait for it to be merged!Pretty sweet improvement coming soon to LND soon. Right now every payment has a footprint of around 1k bytes associated with LND's channel database, in order to retain revocation details. - 😮 139 GB 🤯 really testing the limits! 👏channel.db size reduced by 8 GB. Down to 139 GB. Not feeling too good about the size.
- Replying to @ercwl and @s_5Q2X8mgeGRNo, that is specific to lnd. The acinq node, the largest in the network and operating since 2018, has a database < 500 MB (running eclair).
