    If DPI really mattered, we'd have lots of DPI. If folks really cared, they'd have demanded it by now. Holding and riding markups suits everyone just fine. Sure, eventually you need real cash back. But eventually is doing a lot of work. Outcomes, meet incentives.

    - Platform firms spray the Seed market with high-cap call options, hoping to catch the rocket ships. - If a startup becomes a rocket ship, the Seed price matters much less than access to later rounds. - If it doesn't take off immediately, the high price will make it much harder

    Despite the noise, everyone's still treating AI and cyber like it'll keep being an 'add-on' cycle. It's going to require new paradigms and lead to a replacement cycle. The tough part: the payday for founders is WAY more long-dated. The good part: it's WAY bigger.

    Iraq is offering effectively a $25-$29 a barrel payment to anyone willing to risk loading at its port inside the Persian Gulf and take the barrels out. On a single VLCC, that’s a ~$50-$58 million potential profit, minus costs (and the risk of getting sunk by Iran, that’s it).
