At Archon Robotics, we're building a Humanoid Foundation Model (HFM) for whole-body intelligence — the foundational AI layer that lets humanoid robots move, perceive, reason, and act in the real world.

We aim to become a leading embodied AI company and build the "OpenAI for Humanoid Robotics" in China.

Team

Our founding team brings together around 20 researchers and engineers from top institutions including The University of Hong Kong, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and leading technology companies. Among us are former autonomous driving leaders, robotics researchers, large-model engineers, infrastructure specialists, and award-winning AI researchers.

Pioneer of end-to-end autonomous driving: he led UniAD, the first system to unify perception, prediction, and planning into a single network and win the CVPR 2023 Best Paper Award. He is also a recipient of the 2026 RSS Early Career Award.

Tianyu Li

Tianyu Li李天羽

Co-Founder & CEO

Core architect of Huawei's ADS 4.0 self-driving system, he has shipped end-to-end autonomous driving to real vehicles at production scale, and was named an WAIC Rising Star 2026.

Li Chen

Li Chen陈立

Co-Founder & Head of AI

First author of UniAD, the CVPR 2023 Best Paper that redefined how autonomous systems are built end-to-end. He works on embodied intelligence and world models, and serves as an Area Chair for ECCV 2026.

Overview

We're developing a Humanoid Foundation Model (HFM) that enables robots to perform whole-body tasks requiring simultaneous mobility, manipulation, perception, and decision-making.

Core capabilities include:

Our platform combines foundation model training, robot data infrastructure, simulation systems, and deployment on physical humanoid robots.

Where We Are

Demo / Early Product Validation

We've already developed internal prototypes and demonstrations of whole-body robot intelligence, and we're actively scaling robot data collection, model training, and real-world deployment.

Over the next 12 months, we plan to expand our robot fleet, train larger foundation models, and establish pilot deployments with strategic robotics and enterprise partners.

We brought together top-tier capital firms and leading research institutions, giving us the capital and the network to build at the frontier of embodied AI.
