Publishing

Comic books, art prints, and other physical objects

We like publishing work from artists who are fun & nice. Art gives us a way to understand each other — we publish stuff that explores place and time and individual experience. We enjoy life on earth by publishing stuff that makes us excited about life on earth.

Printing

We work with you to print artwork with RISO

You can hire us to print your work! We’re a (mostly) full-service risograph print shop actively making art prints, newsletters, zines, art books, comics, show posters, protest flyers, party invitations, cassette J-cards, and anything else you can imagine in print!

Interested in RISO?

Risograph is a stencil duplicator from Japan that was initially used for offices and churches and repurposed by artists & art communities due to its vibrant colors, unique translation of art, and fun process. We often describe this process as Screen Printing meets Copy Machine. We burn art into a stencil (referred to as a “master”) that is transferred onto ink drums (with dedicated colors), which then rotates as paper passes under it, transferring ink onto the paper. Each layer of color requires a “pass” through the machine on a different drum (as well as alignment and drying between layers). RISO is great for edition printing, relatively sustainable, and looks great!

Wanna know when something fun is happening?

We host comics events, publish books, print art shows, host workshops, and also travel around selling our stuff. We also like to talk about art. We send out emails when we do those things, so don’t miss out!
