- PSA to anyone living in the Claude Code CLI for remote work: the desktop app connects over SSH. Your servers, VMs, dev containers, etc. Remembered this after a full night of homelab upgrades in a terminal like a caveman. Doh! Don't be me.
- I tried explaining this to @MeganGrant333 and she couldn't care less. Spent the day working on the homelab server, migrating everything to a real HTTPS domain so I can set up more integrations, Tailscale for connectivity, Authentik for SSO to all the services and so much more.
- Been doing more and more work by just pointing Claude directly at the database. No ORM. No service layer. No endpoints to maintain. No UI to deal with. Just: here's the schema, here's what I want. It's uncomfortable how well it works.
