    Don't use a MacBook air for software development in the AI era. I just discovered that my machine has quietly been thermal throttling aggressively for the last year. This is where it slows down the CPU to cool itself down because it has no fan. This has wasted so much of my time.

    Update: For transparency, it is much faster BUT it’s less accurate than Wispr Flow. The latter also did things like produce numbered lists. Just set up a new computer, going to see which direction I take. Leaning back to Wispr Flow 😅

    Just moved from Wispr Flow -> Superwhisper. I've been using it all day, via a local model (Parakeet), and it's so damn fast. My frustration started when Wispr Flow would incorrectly dictate me (British accent) and I went looking for alternatives. Now I'm faster & local.

    I am obsessed with PlanetScale. By far the best database experience I've ever had in my life. I've self-hosted MySQL about 40 times, have used multiple managed database services and PS beats them all. A true set and forget experience.

    I am laughing my ass off right now. I hate cooking more than anybody you know. I despise it. Cooking fried eggs for breakfast everyday is one of the easiest parts of my daily routine. This has raised $720,000 on Kickstarter. Are people really struggling with fried eggs?
