Coderbyte is committed to ensuring that cheating is both prevented and detected in order for organizations to make data-driven and unbiased hiring decisions. If a candidate does any of the following, they will be flagged within the candidate report as participating in suspicious activity:
- Taking a screenshot
- Trying to access Coderbyte's challenge library as an employer
- Abusing the built-in Google Search
- Using any illicit browser extensions
- Trying to modify any scripts running on our platform
With webcam proctoring enabled, the report will also flag the following as suspicious activity:
- Multiple people were detected on the camera
- No one was detected on the camera
- Another device was detected
Note: Webcam proctoring can be enabled for customers on the Bundle subscription or within the Premium Analytics add-on. You must also opt in and enable the AI feature in your account settings.
