With LearnDash Cloud, you don’t have to worry about starting from scratch when building your website. We have the Design Wizard ready and available to help you kickstart your LearnDash Site.
NOTE: The Design Wizard is now available for both LearnDash Cloud and LearnDash Plugin users. The steps for setting it up are the same for both types of LearnDash installs.
The Design Wizard #
After you’ve purchased and built the site, you’ll go through the initial setup wizard to set up how you want your LearnDash site to function. After that, you’ll be taken directly to the Set Up tab, where you can see the Design Wizard.
To get started, click on the arrow next to Select A Starter Template.

The first step lets you kickstart your website with free, pre-made templates. You can hover over the options to preview them and see how they will look when applied. Select the one you want to use from the options and click Next.

The next step is to choose a font for your website. You can select from different font options provided and click the Restore button if you’d like to reset the styles. You can also see these changes in real time on the preview window. Once you are done picking the fonts, click Next.

Finally, you will be presented with a set of color palettes to choose from. This will affect the buttons, links, and even the background color of the page. Click the Restore button on the top right to reset the styles. You can also see these changes in real time in the preview window. Once you are done picking the colors, click Next.

On the next screen, the Design Wizard will begin applying the chosen theme, all of the needed plugins, as well as the demo data.
Once it is done, you will be given the option to exit the setup and go back to the dashboard, or to view your newly minted website.
NOTE: This process can take some time, so you’ll need to allow it a few minutes to complete before navigating away from the page.

Note that these options can still be changed afterward, even after you initially finish with the Design Wizard.
After you’ve run the wizard, you’ll see a Completed label next to it the next time you visit the Set Up tab on your Dashboard.

Once you are finished with the Design Wizard, you can go to the pages that were created from the demo and edit them to fit your needs or remove them completely.
FAQs #
Yes, you can run the Design Wizard again by manually typing one of these URLs into your browser address bar:
For LearnDash Cloud websites:
https://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=learndash-cloud-design-wizard
For Plugin websites:
https://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=learndash-design-wizard
Replace example.com with your site URL. If you choose another theme, it will replace the existing theme. Any content that a new theme added would be separate from the already existing content, so no data loss should happen. However, it is always recommended to create a backup of your site before running the Design Wizard again.
