Wind Carries the Fire — Update.
Work continues on Wind Carries the Fire, the first major Spirit Cinder project.
Since its announcement in October 2025, the project has moved through an important period of development and is now becoming more fully realized as a music-driven animated film.
The film is being built alongside the edge of what current image, video, and world-building technologies can support. Its scope is ahead of what the available tools can realize today. Development is happening in parallel with the cutting edge — allowing the world, characters, and performances of Wind Carries the Fire to take shape as the technology continues to advance.
More will be shared as the film continues to develop.

Spirit Cinder : Wind Carries The Fire
Following the internationally screened Even After (Prelude) — finalist in the Neu Wave AI Film Festival, nominee for Toronto Film Magazine’s Art Film Spirit Award, and winner of Best Sound & Music at Toronto’s Experimental, Dance, and Music Film Festival — comes Spirit Cinder.
The first anthology, Wind Carries the Fire, is a collection of short films set in distinct realities. Each film is a self-contained world and narrative, born from fragments of the artist’s actual dreams. These stories confront collapse and transformation, death and rebirth, and the courage required to step into the void.
Spirit Cinder fuses classical cinema craft with new technologies, blending sculpture, AI-assisted painting, and original music to create immersive experiences where sound and image converge. Influenced by silent film, avant-garde cinema, and modern narrative traditions, the project opens pathways into mythic, dreamlike narratives exploring the nature of self and reality.
The anthology will be released sequentially beginning in 2026, with the first two films now in production.
