SciDance 2025 Summer Program Sign-Up
SciDance is a community ballet program run by NCSSM Jeté, a student-run dance organization at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. 100% of the costs for participating in this program are in support of the Ocean Conservancy's #ProtectWhereWePlay initiative that calls for artists and athletes to fight back against global pollution and climate change! Class Costs
One session: $10
Weeklong Camp Package (Five sessions): $45

Our currently offered SciDance summer classes will run during the listed weeks below from 1:00-2:30 PM EST daily via Zoom.

  2. July 21st-25th

  3. July 28th-August 1st

  4. August 4th-8th

ALL SciDance costs go as a DIRECT donation to the Ocean Conservancy!

Costs for the program are due by 12:00 PM of the day of the SciDance class.

If this is not financially feasible for you, please list in the questions/concerns box at the end of this form where you can apply for financial relief. Our team will contact you within 48 hours to further discuss course registration.

Release of Liability Agreement
I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian, understand that by enrolling my child in online ballet classes taught by SciDance at NCSSM Jeté, I am allowing my child to engage in physical activity that may involve stretching, jumping, balancing, and other movement that carries some risk of injury.

I acknowledge that the instructors at SciDance are well-trained high school students, and are not licensed fitness or dance professionals. I understand that these classes are offered for recreational and educational purposes only.

I voluntarily assume all risks related to my child's participation in these classes and release and hold harmless the SciDance program from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action that may arise from my child’s participation, including but not limited to injury, accidents, or health issues.

I confirm that my child is physically capable of participating in ballet activities and has no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation.

Media Release Consent
I give permission for SciDance to record Zoom classes for educational and promotional purposes. These recordings may be used for student review or shared on social media and promotional materials.
