DRDP (2025) Worksheets for Planning to Gather Additional Evidence As you work through DRDP (2025) assessments, you may find that some measures require additional information before completing ratings. The Desired Results Access Project has developed planning worksheets for both the PTK and IT views to help assessors identify measures that need additional observations or conversations with families and other providers. These worksheets can help organize next steps and support a thoughtful, collaborative assessment process. Every Child Belongs: Napa County's Commitment to Inclusive Early Learning The California Department of Education's Fall 2026 Early Childhood Inclusion Support Newsletter features Napa County Office of Education's (NCOE) work to strengthen inclusive early learning through sustained professional development, collaboration, and community partnerships. The Inclusion Spotlight highlights NCOE's Early Learning Inclusion Cohort, its “Every Child Belongs” professional learning series, and its partnership with CalBloom | Early Learning EveryDay. Through CalBloom's Embedded Learning Framework, educators learn to intentionally incorporate individualized learning opportunities into children's daily routines, play, transitions, and classroom experiences. The partnership combines training, practice-based coaching, reflection, and professional learning communities to help educators support children with diverse abilities learning alongside their peers. Together, these efforts demonstrate how ongoing investment in educators and collaborative partnerships can build lasting systems of inclusion. The newsletter also shares statewide resources, training opportunities, and strategies for supporting inclusive early childhood education. 📖 Read the Inclusion Spotlight (pages 1–4) and download the newsletter: https://lnkd.in/gquxKq_k 🔗 Explore CDE's Inclusive Early Education Resources: https://lnkd.in/gRtmdsVs #EarlyChildhoodInclusion #CalBloom #NCOE #InclusiveEducation #ProfessionalLearning #EmbeddedLearning

We surveyed 36 participants from our recent 7-hour in-person DRDP (2025) training and asked: "What additional DRDP supports are you likely to participate in if they were offered?" Swipe through for what we learned, one finding per slide: 1. The biggest gap is online training. Half said they would participate in online or self-paced DRDP modules, but only 3% had ever received DRDP training that way. 2. They want more of what worked. More than 4 in 10 want additional in-person sessions, and unprompted praise came from every experience level, brand-new staff through 15+ year veterans. 3. The content priorities are specific. Even after the training, confidence lagged in two areas: using the DRDP with children with IFSPs and IEPs, and determining measure ratings. 4. Newer staff want job-embedded support (n=13). Among staff with 5 or fewer years of experience, roughly 6 in 10 would take supervisor feedback, and over half would take peer assistance or small-group coaching. 5. The Desired Results Access Project offers online, self-paced DRDP (2025) training at DRAccessLearn.org for special education, covering exactly the IFSP/IEP content where confidence was lowest.

Focus on meaningful, objective observations rather than trying to document everything. Need support?
