With five major concerts each year, Masterwork performs in New Jersey and at some of the nation’s most renowned stages, including Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, and the Kennedy Center. Since 1961, the chorus has returned annually to Carnegie Hall for its signature performance of Messiah—a treasured tradition that now spans more than 390 performances.

Many singers are long-time members, and only five conductors have guided Masterwork Chorus since its founding—an enduring continuity that reflects both artistic excellence and deep community. At its heart, Masterwork remains a warm, welcoming ensemble, united in the shared joy of music—where all are truly welcome.

Masterwork also features a select chamber ensemble, Camarata, along with a vibrant community outreach program, informal Summer Sings, a December Messiah Sing, and ReachOut performances for senior citizens in assisted living and health care centers.
