*UPDATE 11/19:
After agreeing to a payment plan at the hearing on 9/30: rent plus $150 per month until the balance was paid off (now at $2332), I unexpectedly received a 60 day to vacate notice today, requiring me to leave the property by 1/31/25. I’ve been fulfilling the terms of the payment plan since it was set. I’m assuming they no longer want to proceed with the repayment arrangement. I’ve been with the rental company for over 7 years and never had an issue before my financial crisis beginning late 2023. I’ve been a good tenant.
Now that I’m unemployed with two eviction filings, finding another place will be challenging. If anyone has advice, resources, or knows of housing options within the Woodland Hills School District, please let me know. Moving in with family is not an option. There is no room. Thank you.

Hey guys!
Once again, I’m reaching out to ask for your support. My landlord has informed me that he is moving forward with an eviction filing. The last time this happened, I was able to stop it thanks to the incredible generosity of this community and rental assistance. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to cover the full balance, and for months now, I’ve been under constant threat of eviction. I am no longer eligible for rental assistance.
2024 has been an incredibly difficult year. I was unemployed for half of it and also suffered the loss of a beloved family member. While I am now employed, my income isn’t enough to cover my back rent and rent going forward. The stress from this has been overwhelming, and I’ve struggled many times with wanting to leave this earth.
I owe $3,465 in back rent, and I’m asking for additional support to help cover an ongoing high electric bill. My hope is to stop the eviction process and move into the colder months with peace of mind.
Thank you for all your continued support in helping me and my family stay housed.
