This fundraiser is now focused solely on raising the $17,000 needed for gender affirming surgery. First, I need $1,710 to put a down payment and schedule a future surgery date. After that, I will be working multiple jobs, gigs, and working towards acquiring the funds along with asking community to help. Below is an update from the original plan in October to where I have landed present day in April. 

Originally the goal was to focus on stewarding the land but after doing research the cost to acquire a permanent home was far out of my reach (being realistic). With being accepted into the pre-apprenticeship program the goal shifted to focusing on joining a union. During the apprenticeship program I was introduced to several unions and chose to surrender to let the union that was for me reveal itself. After 8-weeks I have decided to move forward with putting in an application for the carpenter's union. 

Stewarding the land is still a long-term goal, just on hold for now as I sort out other meaningful steps on the way. Gaining the skills as a union carpenter will prepare me to possibly build my own permanent home (a guy can dream).
