I’m Abood, 22 years old, from Gaza. I had a previous donation that was canceled- this is the correct one to use.
I was studying Special Education for Children with Disabilities, dreaming of becoming a teacher who helps children rebuild their confidence and hope.
But after two years of relentless war, my dreams — along with my home and my future — were destroyed.
We lived through unimaginable horror during this war — nights filled with fear, hunger, and the sound of constant bombing.
The sky was burning, the ground was shaking, and every home in Gaza felt death getting closer.
We spent endless nights without power, water, or safety — just trying to stay alive.
During one of the airstrikes, my sister and her children were killed while sleeping, and our only source of income — our small sewing factory — was completely destroyed.
The war didn’t only take my dream — it also stole my siblings’ education and future.
All of us were forced to stop studying after the universities and schools were destroyed.
We once dreamed of graduating together and building a better life for our family, but now we are struggling just to survive.
Today, we dream only of rebuilding our lives, finding safety, and restoring our hope.
Your donation, no matter how small, can help me and my siblings get back our right to education and a safe life.
