Will I be number one on Google?
It's possible!
But, if someone is making that claim for every keyword you want to rank for, then I'd say it's going to be hard to trust them.
SEO is a long term game and can bring you traffic and benefits that greatly outweigh the costs, and you don't even have to rank number one for that one search term you think is most important, but with some hard work and patience, you might be up there sooner than you think.

Is this going to take a lot of work on my part?
