JABBERJAW - GOOD TO THE LAST DROP (1994)

I realize this comp has been around on other blogs and such.
But fuck it! It's a killer compilation that continues to have the need to be played over and over.

Plus I was just reading about a book that came out about the club called "It All Dies Anyway: L.A. Jabberjaw, and the End of an Era" and it got me in the mood to hear this again.
So I'm sharing it cuz now you're thinking about it too. You're welcome.
Read this too.

SLUG - SWINGERS (1992)

More pummeling noise rock goodness from Slug for ya, as well as fulfilling requests.
This was originally a 10" and a CD release.
Yes, we do requests, birthday parties, bar mitzfahs.... No Skynyrd covers though... unless there's enough cash involved. Cha-ching!

SLUG - HAMBONE CITY / KING OF GHOSTS EP (1993)

Solid early 90's noise rock from Los Angle-ees, Ca. 2 song single here, Slug had a couple albums, one of which you can get here, and a handful of singles. If you dig Cherubs, Unsane, Jesus Lizard, Cows, godheadsilo, then you'll be happy with this acquisition.

SLUG - THE OUT SOUND (1994)

So with this blog, I try to mix new noise rock stuffs, with the classic, must-have stuffs in order to call yourself a noise rock lover. This is indeed one of those necessity albums to have in your collection. One of those albums which helped pave why you dig this crazy, beefed up, over-amped, nasty, unpleasant style of music in the first place. If you don't have this, you should, its a building block...one of the early influential records to all those other bands making the same clambering noise. Its from the 90s and they've done split 7"s with Unsane and Cherubs. 'Nuf said. Get it! (PCP Entertainment 1994)
