    当方プログラミングが初で、学ぶ言語としてpythonを初めて選択しています。

    初級本を読破し、２冊目として購入。

    やはりプロフェッショナルとあるだけ、随所に難しさが見られる。

    難しいことは難しいが、やはり本格的なプログラミングというのは

    この辺りのレベルまで学んでおく必要があると実感。

    何度も初級本に戻ったりネットで検索する事もあるが、

    １ページ１ページが中身が濃いので、マスターできれば学ぶことが非常に多い一冊だと思います。

    レビューも見ていたけれど、書店でも現物をみました。それ以来欲しくなり、

    結局購入、中身はばっちり。そうなんだよな、これがプロフェッショナルなんだ、と自分で感動。

    他にもPython関係はいろいろ買いましたが、これはベスト３に入ります。

    PythonのWeb開発で食べていくための本

    タイトルが似ているエキスパートPythonプログラミング同様、初心者お断りな内容です。

    また、前掲書と比べた本書の特徴は、記述対象がWebアプリケーションや開発工程に絞りこまれていることです。

    なので、一見Pythonと関係ないWebサーバ(nginx)や分散リポジトリ(Mercurial)などにも

    結構なページが割かれています（nginx・Mercurial以外を既に導入済みの現場には不要な内容ですが……）。

    PythonでWeb開発する際に押さえておくべきDjangoやsouth、JSON形式のFixtureなどについてもきちんと押さえられています。

    Python・DjangoでWebアプリケーション開発を開発している現場(日本では少ないでしょうが)では

    本書をデスクトップに置いておくと非常に重宝するでしょう。

    Pythonの言語の説明はあまりありません。Pythonを読めるようになった人が開発をする際に苦労するであろう点、開発環境であったり、バージョン管理、ライブラリ、ドキュメント、CI、テストであったり、を紹介しています。広範囲にわたっているので深めの記述はありませんが、導入には丁度よいです。

    個人的にはSphixの解説が役に立ちました。

    Robot Frameworkの紹介があればもっと嬉しかったです。

    このサイズでこれだけはいっているのはお得です。

    そう思えるほど、実践的な内容になっています。

    仕事でPythonを使っている人、個人の開発環境をより良くしたい人には

    もちろん、Pythonは使ってないけど、仕事や個人の開発環境に

    不満がある人にも、是非読んで貰いたいと思います。

    そして、私の職場にもこの本に書かれているような

    開発体制を！（切実な願い）
