Founded in 1955, this distinguished non-profit chorus enriches, delights, and sustains the cultural life of the community through inspiring, high-caliber choral performances.
With five major concerts each year, Masterwork performs in New Jersey and at some of the nation’s most renowned stages, including Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, and the Kennedy Center. Since 1961, the chorus has returned annually to Carnegie Hall for its signature performance of Messiah—a treasured tradition that now spans more than 390 performances.

At its heart, Masterwork remains a warm, welcoming ensemble, united in the shared joy of music—where all are truly welcome.
Masterwork also features a select chamber ensemble, Camarata, along with a vibrant community outreach program, informal Summer Sings, a December Messiah Sing, and ReachOut performances for senior citizens in assisted living and health care centers.
