What should I do if I find that the water is not coming out?

Try to unplug the adapter from the power outlet and plug it back in.
What are your recommendations for maintaining stainless steel?

Clean with a soft cloth (no steel wool). For limescale, soak in white vinegar or lemon juice, then rinse.
What can be done to make the fountain last longer and be more durable?

Disassemble and clean the pump impeller once a week.
Why regularly replace the white filter and black sponge in the pump?

Replace every two weeks for effective purification and to prevent contamination.
Are there any other recommendations for use?

Even a stable fountain won't stop playful splashes. Just put a large boot tray underneath — cheap insurance for hardwood floors.
