This bouncer is super travel-friendly and quite the assistant when this FTM has to have her hands free. My baby enjoys being in this bouncer and is quite enthusiastic (kicks her legs vigorously) to move the bouncer on her own. Regarding the price, my husband and I opted to invest in this as it will grow with our little one and we can foresee using it again if we have another child in the future. :)

    This bouncer is expensive but for me it was worth it. It is very durable and the cover is super easy to wash. Folds easy for storage and can be unfolded with one hand. Super lightweight, very bouncy and baby seems very comfortable in it.

    We absolutely love this bouncer! The light beige woven fabric is beautiful and neutral, so it blends right into our home instead of looking like typical baby gear. It’s lightweight and so easy to move from room to room, and I love that it doesn’t require batteries or take up a ton of space. The different positions are really convenient as baby grows, and the fabric feels high quality and supportive. It’s definitely one of those baby items we use constantly and has been completely worth it!

    I hesitated for weeks before buying this bouncer. It felt expensive for something that doesn’t rock on its own or have fancy buttons. But now that we’ve been using it daily, I get the hype.

    Our baby loves this thing. It’s lightweight, easy to move from room to room, and folds flat, which makes it great for travel or just stashing away when you need space. I can put him in it while I cook, shower, or even just drink coffee with two hands, which is huge.

    What surprised me most is how well it supports his body. The fabric cradles him in a way that feels natural, and there’s no awkward slump like I’ve seen with other bouncers. He started using it around 6 weeks and fits in it perfectly.

    It doesn’t have toys or vibration, but the natural bounce from his own little kicks is enough to keep him entertained. Plus, no batteries = one less thing to deal with.

    Pros:

    • Sleek and minimal (not an eyesore in our living room)

    • Super easy to clean (we’ve had a few diaper blowouts in it already…)

    • Grows with baby — we haven’t tried it in the toddler seat mode yet, but love that it will last longer than most baby gear

    Cons:

    • It’s definitely on the expensive side

    • No built-in entertainment (though BabyBjörn sells a toy bar separately)

    Final thoughts:

    If you’re on the fence because of the price. I was too. But now that we have it, I’d 100% buy it again. It’s one of the few baby items we use every single day, and it just makes life easier.

    I would buy this again and again. Oh my gosh, this was a life saver when my baby was little. The material is so soft and comfortable. She was always so happy when we put her in the bouncer. She had reflux and tummy issues so we had to sit her upright a lot and this was a great position for her. Truly worth every penny!!!

    Worth the money!

    We hesitated buying this initially as we had received a different brand of rocker (via the registry) which was a lot cheaper (wont name it). That rocker design seemed just fine design wise, our lil one just did not like it, something about the way it seated her and the positioning as to what she can see, she outright hated it! We tried for at least 3 weeks every day and it just wasn't working for her. We struggled for those initial days with this other rocker to have her relax to go to sleep as she generally fought sleeping during the day.

    We were reluctant about BabyBjörn purely based on the price point. But we decided to get it and was one of the best thing we've ever purchased for her...we bought this when she was about a month and half old but she LOVES it! I really dont have anything negative to say neither did our lil one :) Like I said, price point seemed high, but seeing the smile and comfort it brought to our lil one, absolutely no regrets! We use it to feed her and it helps her fall asleep. We DO NOT leave there for long, just enough for her to close her eyes, and we put her in her crib. Before we had this, it was very hard to fall asleep as she would fight her sleep but BabyBjörn has a smooth rocking feel, helps her hit those zzzz's pretty quickly. Anyhow, this was worth the money in our case!

    I love this bouncer, I have one complaint the buttons to get LO in and out are difficult to pull thru but otherwise great

    Perfect for newborns, great natural bounce and well worth the price!

    Given that infant chairs and rockers are available for much much less ( $26 and up) I was very skeptical of buying this at $200. I ultimately decided to try it because others I tried weren't suitable for newborns who cannot hold their necks up yet. My baby's head, neck and spine would slouch in those chairs and she would be uncomfortable. However, BabyBjorn's bouncer bliss is truly an amazing bouncer chair, and, being the only one of its kind, is worth the premium. We got it when my daughter was 6 weeks and it was perfect for her posture even then! No slouching head, or spine. I also prefer the natural bounce of this bouncer, versus battery operated motorized ones. My daughter could gently rock it by her own movements even when she was 6 weeks old. Now she is four months and vigorously rocks it with her own kicks. She loves it! It's light, which makes it very portable. We travel with it all the time for overnight trips.

    Only con - the frame though sturdy is light. It would bend out of shape if subjected to too much force.

    Bottomline - this bouncer is perfect for newborns who cannot hold their heads, unlike other chairs where their head and spine slouch, and great if you prefer the natural bounce of a rocker resulting from the infant's own movements. However, if you are shopping for an infant who can hold her neck up (3-4 months or older) and are happy with a batter operated rocker, then less expensive chairs may suffice.
