WALID KAMAL SHAABAN

Founder & Managing Partner

Walid Shaaban is the Founder and Managing Partner of Back Combined Company (BACK), a Grade A contracting firm recognized by the Kuwaiti Municipality and widely respected across the construction sector in Kuwait. With over 28 years of experience in the industry, Walid has built a distinguished career leading some of Kuwait’s most prominent construction projects.

In 2012, he founded Back Combined Company with a clear vision: to raise the standard of construction excellence by delivering quality-driven, innovative, and customer-centric solutions.

Under his leadership, BACK has completed a wide range of landmark projects — including hospitals, malls, towers, and uniquely designed private villas — establishing a strong reputation for excellence in Kuwait’s competitive construction landscape. His ability to translate vision into structure is reflected not only in the projects themselves but also in the teams he leads. Walid is known for developing high-performing management teams that drive both profitability and operational efficiency. He holds a Civil Engineering degree from Beirut Arab University in Lebanon and has completed numerous certifications in project management, planning, risk management, and more. In addition to his professional achievements, Walid serves as an Executive Board Member of the Lebanese Business Council of Kuwait (LBCK).

REVISION OF THE QUALITY CONTROL PROGRAM

The Project Manager is responsible for the preparation, compilation, review, issuance, maintenance, and revision control of the Quality Program, with the approval of the Engineer’s representative.

HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

In all of its operations, Back Combined is guided by an established Health & Safety Policy.

This policy is based on a priority goal to eliminate personal injuries, occupational illness, and damage to equipment and property, as well as to protect the general public whenever and wherever the public comes in contact with or is effected by the company’s work.

While the ultimate success of this policy depends upon the full coorperation of each employee, company management and field supervisors are charged with the responsibility of planning safety for each work task to avoid incedents, conditions, and actions that could lead to occupational injuries or illness.

Safety is never sacrificed for production. It is considered an integral part of quality control, cost reduction, job efficency, and contribution to the continued growth and success of the company.
