We're reaching a point where interest in AI is no longer enough. Leaders need to understand what's improved, where the organization is seeing value, and whether that progress can be sustained. Those answers require clear business priorities, accountable ownership, and a practical approach to governance. I see this as an important moment for organizations. The decisions being made now will shape how successfully AI becomes part of the business over the long term. Tomorrow, Christopher Simm and Brad Lyon will share practical guidance for moving Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI agents from experimentation into secure, measurable operations. For leaders considering the next stage of their AI strategy, this will be a timely conversation. https://hubs.la/Q04zgbbZ0

  • As AI shifts from assisting employees to taking action, the governance questions change. It’s no longer only about who can access information. Leaders also need to understand what AI can act on, whose behalf it is acting on, who owns it, and what limits are in place. Join Christopher J. Simm and Brad Lyon, MBA, PMP this October for a practical webinar: From AI Experimentation to Operational Impact. We'll cover: ➡️Operational readiness for Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI agents ➡️Data exposure, oversharing, shadow AI, and agent sprawl ➡️Governance, security, and accountability ➡️Measuring AI through business outcomes rather than activity alone Build the foundation to scale AI with greater confidence. https://hubs.la/Q04yltdT0

As MISA BC winds down, we want to thank everyone who stopped by the Bulletproof booth, attended our session, fireside chat, and shared their perspectives throughout the week. Events like this are a reminder that municipalities across Canada are navigating many of the same challenges: strengthening cybersecurity, managing risk, enabling innovation, and preparing for what's next. We're grateful for the conversations, connections, and insights shared over the past few days. A special thank you to our customers, partners, and the MISA BC community for making this such a valuable event. Safe travels home, and we look forward to continuing the conversation.

AI adoption rarely starts with a formal rollout. Employees are already using AI to summarize information, automate tasks, build workflows, and solve everyday problems. Some of those ideas could create real value. Others could expose sensitive data, introduce unsupported applications, or add costs no one is tracking. Before you can govern AI effectively, you need to understand what is already happening. - Which tools are being used? - What apps and agents have been built? - What data can they access? - Who supports & oversees them? - What business need are they trying to solve? Good governance should make responsible innovation easier. It starts with seeing the AI already inside your organization. Understand your AI starting point. 💡 Watch the on-demand webinar: https://hubs.la/Q04xP6tv0

  • Municipal IT leaders don't need more theory. They need practical answers. That's exactly the conversation we're hoping to have at MISA BC 2026. From cybersecurity and compliance to modernization and service delivery, municipalities are balancing no shortage of priorities. We're looking forward to connecting with the people tackling those challenges every day and sharing what we're seeing across local governments throughout Canada. Join us for our sponsored Been There, Done That Panel, attend our fireside chat with the City of Victoria, and stop by Booth 36 to meet the team.

  • The team is looking forward to returning to TribalNet this year and reconnecting with leaders from across tribal organizations. Every community is facing different priorities, but many of the conversations come back to the same themes: - Cybersecurity - Data Protection - Operational Resilience - Supporting Growth while Managing Risk. If you'll be there, stop by Booth 237 and say hello.👋 We'd love to hear what's top of mind for your organization, share what we're seeing across tribal communities, and talk about the challenges and opportunities ahead. Looking forward to connecting in person.

  • Municipal IT teams are being asked to strengthen security, keep pace with compliance, and prepare for AI, often without more time or resources. Join us at MISA BC 2026 in Kelowna, September 21–24, for practical conversations about reducing risk, simplifying operations, and building greater resilience across your municipality. Visit the Bulletproof team at booth 36 and see how one partner can help connect IT, security, data, compliance, and AI. 📍Book some one-on-one time: https://hubs.la/Q04w6x3S0
