Learn to use AI, one short lesson at a time
Welcome to Gab AI Learn: short, practical lessons that teach you how to use AI for everyday work. Gab AI brings it all into one place. Chat and research with sources, create images and videos, explore maps, build your own agents, and schedule tasks that run for you. The lessons are organized into modules. Start with the basics and better prompts, then move on to creating, power features, and projects in Work. Each lesson takes just a few minutes. Read the skill, watch a short video, then try it yourself with a practice prompt. You don't need any experience. The lessons are free, and you can go at your own pace. Pick your first lesson, and start learning.

- Models, Auto, and credits — How Auto picks a model, how to choose one yourself, and where to see your credits and usage.
- Research with sources you can check — Use web search for current information, then check the cited sources before you rely on the answer.
- Check before you trust — Ask for sources, check names, numbers, and dates against them, and ask Gab AI what you should double-check.
- Upload a file and ask about it — Attach a PDF, ask for a summary and the key dates, then ask follow-up questions about the same file.
- Talk it through with Voice Mode — Start Voice Mode, learn the controls for muting, voices, and ending the call, and find the conversation saved as a chat.
- Build a custom bot — Create a bot in a few steps: name it, approve its responsibilities and instructions, pick an avatar, and start chatting.
- Teach Gab AI to remember you — Add a memory in Settings, see Gab AI use it in a new chat, and learn where to review or remove what it remembers.
- Organize with Collections and Bookmarks — Create a collection for a project, start chats inside it, and bookmark the answers you want to find again.
- Turn rough notes into a clear email — Paste rough notes, name the reader and the tone, set a length, then ask Gab AI to adjust the draft until it sounds like you.

- Write a useful Work brief — Build a Work brief from four parts: the outcome, the audience and context, the output format, and a check that tells you it is done.
- Your artifact toolkit — Tour the files Work makes: documents, spreadsheets, presentations, images, and code. Each opens in its own editor and exports to the format you need.
- Review, revise, and finish — Review a first version against your brief, ask Work for one specific revision in the same task, and say what must stay the same.
- Build a playable browser game — Give Work a clear game brief, then play the finished game right in the code artifact and ask for changes.
- Create and edit an image in Work — Brief Work on a game cover with a subject, style, and layout, then open the image artifact to edit a region, remove details, or change its shape.
- Make an editable document — Brief Work on a player guide with an audience and sections, open the editable document, make a direct edit, and export to Word or PDF.
- Build a working spreadsheet — Brief Work on a launch budget with formulas, open the editable workbook, and check the totals against a result you already know.
- Create a presentation — Brief Work on a five-slide pitch with an audience and colors, open the editable deck, and step through the slides and speaker notes.
- Make a video, step by step — Brief Work on a three-shot teaser with a consistent style, answer its questions and approvals, then watch the preview before the final export.
- The Work video studio, step by step — Follow a full Work video project: approve the storyboard, improve a reference image, generate and redo clips, approve the music, and download the finished video.
From a question to a useful answer.
Five practical lessons: write your first prompt, ask for what you need, give useful context, improve the first answer, and check before you trust. Each lesson includes an editable practice prompt, an example, and a self-review checklist. Practice drafts and completion marks stay in your browser.
Watch a useful conversation unfold.
Step through example Gab AI conversations: write an invitation, compare venues, and turn meeting notes into next steps. See the prompt, read the response, ask for a change, and check the result. Then practice spotting unsupported facts and missing details with explained answers.

Before you begin
Do I need an account?
Every lesson is free to read without an account. Sign in to Gab AI when you want to run a project. Work tasks and media generation use credits; review your available balance before you start.
Will my progress be saved?
Your completion marks and practice drafts save in this browser, including on shared devices. They do not sync between devices or accounts. If browser storage is unavailable, your work stays available for the current visit. Review checks and example questions start fresh when you reopen a lesson.
Where should I start?
New to AI? Start with Your First Prompt. If you have a task in mind, choose a goal on this page and follow its suggested lessons. Move on to Work when you want the agent to carry out a project and create files you can review and edit.
What is the difference between Chat and Work?
Use Chat to ask questions, work through an idea, or improve a draft together. Use Work for a project with multiple steps, tools, or files to create. The lessons show you how to give useful instructions and check the result in either case.
How long does a project take?
The time on each lesson is an estimated reading time. Your project will take longer while Work creates files or generates media. Start small, review the first version, and leave time for revisions.
Can I follow along on my phone?
You can read the lessons and start Work tasks on mobile. The editor walkthroughs describe Gab AI on the web; a larger screen is helpful for selecting image regions, reviewing video clips, and editing spreadsheets. Available controls vary by device and file type.
