NanBan's Board

A personal job tracker built for my friend Nandita (we call her NanBan). She's been my best friend for decades, and currently with the war situation in the Middle East (March 2026), she's in India and doesn't have a specific date to come back. I want my bestie back, and a job would give her a reason. She is a product management professional looking for PM and adjacent roles in Dubai.

What is this?

It's a job board that scrapes Dubai-based product management roles and presents them in one focused place. PM jobs are scattered all over the internet — this pulls them together, filters for the roles that actually make sense for someone in Nandita's field, and keeps things fresh.

Nandita can also add any job she finds elsewhere: paste a URL and the app tries to autofill the details, or fill it in manually. Whether it's something scraped by the board or a role she spotted herself, it all lives in one place.

What does it do?

  • Scrapes fresh jobs from multiple sources — Adzuna, Indeed, JSearch, and direct employer sites (Careem, Noon, Tabby, Tamara, Jumeirah, and more) — filtered for PM and adjacent roles in Dubai
  • AI match scoring — upload your CV and the app scores how well each job fits you, with a breakdown of what aligns and what doesn't
  • AI resume generation — one click generates a tailored resume for a specific job, downloadable as PDF or Word (.doc)
  • AI cover letter — writes a personalised cover letter for each role, streamed in real time, downloadable as PDF or Word (.doc)
  • Save jobs — bookmark anything worth tracking so it shows up in your Applications tab
  • Add your own jobs — paste a URL from anywhere and the app autofills what it can, or add details manually

Who is it for?

Nandita, specifically. But if you're a PM job hunting in Dubai, it'll work just as well for you.

Tech

Next.js 15 · Supabase · Upstash Redis · Claude API (Anthropic) · Tailwind CSS · Deployed on Vercel

Built with

This was built with Claude Code — Anthropic's AI coding tool. Most of the code was written through a conversation, not typed by hand. I have no software engineering background — just an idea and a desire to bring my bestie back home.
